The Walt Disney Company has honoured Hollywood star Chadwick Boseman on what would have been the late actor's 44th birthday by adding new opening credits to 2018's Black Panther , his first and last film as the titular superhero. Boseman, who attained global stardom as King T'Challa of fictitious African country Wakanda aka superhero Black Panther in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), died in August after a four year-long secret battle with colon cancer. Disney Plus, the parent company's streaming service, updated the credits to Black Panther , the video of which was also shared by Marvel Studios on social media on Sunday. About 30 seconds long, the credit scene is a montage of Boseman as Black Panther. The Marvel logo is a deep purple, the colour of the superhero's costume. Shakeela , starring Richa Chadha, is slated to have a theatrical release on Christmas, the makers announced on Monday. The film, directed by Indrajit Lankesh, was scheduled to hit the screens earlier this year. The film delves into the life of the glamorous adult actor, who has worked in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada language films. Shakeela has also given her  personal insights  into the film in order to make it as authentic as possible. She will also have a cameo in the biopic. The makers made the announcement with the launch of the film's new poster, which features the Fukrey star draped in a sari, holding a gun. Actor Jacqueline Fernandez on Sunday said she has finished shooting the first schedule of her upcoming horror comedy Bhoot Police in Dharamshala. The film's cast and crew, including Saif Ali Khan, Arjun Kapoor and Yami Gautam, have been in Himachal Pradesh since October for the film's production. Britain’s culture minister thinks the Netflix TV series The Crown should come with a disclaimer: It’s a work of fiction. Culture Secretary Oliver Dowden weighed in amid criticism of the historical liberties taken by the drama about the British royal family. “It’s a beautifully produced work of fiction. So as with other TV productions, Netflix should be very clear at the beginning it is just that,” Dowden told the Mail on Sunday newspaper. “Without this, I fear a generation of viewers who did not live through these events may mistake fiction for fact.” Dowden is expected to write to Netflix this week to express his view. Veteran actor Dharmendra on Sunday announced the sequel of the 2007 hit Apne , which featured him alongside his actor-sons Sunny and Bobby Deol for the first time. Directed by Anil Sharma of Gadar: Ek Prem Katha fame, the sports drama featured Dharmendra as a disgraced former boxer who tries to reclaim lost respect in his career through his sons. Academy Award-winning music composer AR Rahman on Monday was announced as the ambassador for the British Academy of Film and Television Arts' (BAFTA) ' 'Breakthrough Initiative'' . Dave Prowse, the British weightlifter-turned-actor who played Darth Vader in the original Star Wars trilogy, has died. He was 85. Prowse died Saturday after a short illness, his agent Thomas Bowington said Sunday. "May the force be with him, always! Though famous for playing many monsters - for myself, and all who knew Dave and worked with him, he was a hero in our lives," he said, according to the BBC . Eric Clapton has announced a new song 'Stand and Deliver' with Van Morrison to raise funds for musicians affected by the pandemic as part of the latter's Save Live Music campaign. Clapton has performed the song written by Morrison. The Wrap writes that 'Stand and Deliver' is the fourth song after 'Born to Be Free', 'As I Walked Out' , and 'No More Lockdown',  where Clapton has objected to the lockdown measures adopted by the British government to contain COVID-19.
